Tanudan LGU wishes its young athletes to do best in 2024 Provincial Meet

Tanudan, Kalinga – As the 2024 Kalinga Provincial Meet formally begins on January 25, the Tanudan Local Government Unit wishes their young athletes to do their best and enjoy their games.

The local government, headed by Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, will be sending hundreds of athletes to represent the municipality and compete in various sports events in this year’s provincial sports festival in Rizal.

It could be recalled that last year, the Tanudan delegation brought home the overall third place after harvesting a total of 111 medals – 42 gold, 29 silver, and 40 bronze.

According to Tanudan Designate Information Officer and Executive Assistant to Mayor Dagadag, John Ryan Awingan, the LGU, just like the previous sports festival, provided for the Tanudan delegation’s uniform, food, transportation, and equipment, among others.

He added that the Tanudan LGU is cheering on their respective athletes and wishes them well in their games. He further said that officials and leaders of Tanudan will be in Rizal to support the young players.
