Tanudan Mayor Dagadag highlights importance of respecting mother, wife on Women’s Month

Tanudan, Kalinga – “Irespeto at mahalin ang ina at asawa kasi yan ang sabi ng Diyos sa Bibliya,” Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag has this reminder on Women’s Month.

During the culmination of said activity on March 24 at Davidson Hotel, Mayor Dagadag recognized the role and capabilities of women, citing their strength that never wanes even amidst struggles.

He expounded that these women sometimes go through pain and adversaries but they remain steadfast and unshaken for their family and loved ones.

The mayor conveyed there are numerous contributions of women in the society, but he noted that people should never forget that it is them who bring one of the best gifts in this world, life.

“Galing tayo sa mga ina, kung wala sila ay wala din tayo sa mundo. At kung ano yung tinatamasa natin ngayon sa buhay ay dahil din sa kanilang mga sakripisyo para sa atin,” he noted.

Thus, the mayor emphasized that all the wives, mothers, and ladies should be loved, respected, and treasured saying, “hindi dapat sila sinasaktan o inaabuso. Mahalin natin sila at wag bibigyan ng pasakit.”
