Tanudan medalists in 2023 Prov’l Athletic Meet to receive cash incentive

Tanudan, Kalinga – Having brought honor and pride to the municipality, yTanudan medalists in the 2023 Kalinga Provincial Athletic Meet are set to receive cash incentives.

The delegation snatched the third spot in this year’s provincial sports festival held in Rizal, Kalinga from April 14-16.

The athletes collected a total of 111 medals: 42 gold, 29 silver, and 40 bronze medals.

In recognition of the athletes’ hard work and exemplary performance in said athletic meet, the Tanudan Local Government Unit headed by Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag will be giving cash to the medalists.

Executive Assistant to Mayor Dagadag, Alex Ladwingon revealed that a total of P62,400 shall be awarded to these student-athletes once the sports coordinator submitted the needed documents at the LGU.

With the 2023 Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association(CARAA) meet opening in Baguio City on April 29, Mayor Dagadag challenges the athletes from Tanudan who were qualified to join the CARAA meet to do their best as they will receive another award should they bring home a medal.

“Proud kami ken dakayu nga napan mang-represent iti Kalinga ditoy CARAA meet. Ipapati yo dagiti games yu ngem haan yu baybay-an iti eskwela yu ta dayta ti kamayatan nga maipamana dagiti nagannak yu kanya yu,” he said.
