‘Tanudan: One of the most peaceful towns in the province’ – PNP Kalinga

Tanudan, Kalinga – Peace and order in Kalinga have been sustained over the past years, and one of the contributing municipalities to this milestone is Tanudan, says the Kalinga police.

Representing the Kalinga Police Provincial Office during the Regional Advisory Council meeting in Banagao, Poblacion in Tanudan on May 29, PCapt. Ruff Manganip reported that Tanudan is one of the most peaceful towns in the province.

In fact, he added, the municipality recorded a zero crime rate in 2021, and that only minimal incidents were monitored in the following years.

“As per record gamin talaga nga one of the contributory factors nu apay nga very peaceful iti Kalinga ket Tanudan municipality. Makita tayo met nga very minimal lang dagiay crime incidents nga nangnangyari idiay,” Manganip expounded in an interview.

The Kalinga police spokesperson attributed this peaceful status of Tanudan to the initiative and support of the Municipal Local Government Unit headed by Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag to the Philippine National Police.   

“Very supportive iti LGU iti Tanudan. Madi kayat ni mayor nga adda iti sugal idiay so talaga nga awan met iti sugal and pina-igting da iti kampanya iti daytoy illegal logging,” he stressed.
