Tanudan, Kalinga – The Municipality of Tanudan expects to serve more sick and medically ill patients in town after receiving their new Patient Transport Vehicle from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

The said vehicle was turned over to Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag on March 29, 2022.

Executive Assistant to Mayor Dagadag, John Ryan Awingan, mentioned that the Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) from PCSO is now the fourth medical vehicle Tanudan received under the administration of Mayor Dagadag.

“Uray limited iti IRA tayo, daytoy ket maki uppat en nga ambulance ti Tanudan under his administration gapu ti kinagaget ken kinalaing na a mapan ag-source out iti pondo ken ag-follow-up kada anyaman a pagsayaatan ti ili tayu a Tanudan,” he said.

Of the 4 transport vehicles, two were ambulances which were turned over to the Tanudan District Hospital that Dagadag requested from the Office of Senator Bong Go through Department of Budget and Management Secretary Wendel Avisado in 2021.

Mayor Dagadag expressed his gratitude to the PCSO for granting Tanudan’s request for a Patient Transport Vehicle, saying that this is a huge help in the municipality as there will be more available vehicles that would transport patients and injured individuals to medical facilities in town and in higher-level hospitals when needed.

He added that the medical vehicles of Tanudan are ready for use 24/7 and that they also serve patients needing transport, even those outside the municipality.

“Haan tayo agpili, nu sino iti agkasapulan iti ambulance ken tulong ket tulungan tayo uray saan da a taga Tanudan. Awan iti mabati a taga Tanudan ken uray taga Kalinga nga agkasapulan iti tulong tayo,” he stressed.
