Tanudan sustains ‘exemplary performance’ in keeping communities free and safe from illegal drugs

Tanudan, Kalinga – Over the past years, Tanudan has sustained its efforts and commitment to fighting illegal drugs as manifested in the latest citation conferred to the municipality on October 28 in Baguio City.

 

On said date, Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag received from the Department of the Interior and Local Government two plaques of recognition acknowledging Tanudan’s ‘exemplary performance’ in keeping communities ‘safe and free’ of illegal drugs.

 

The municipality earned a 90.50% or ‘High Functional Performance’ in the Calendar Year 2022 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit and 87% or ‘High Functional Performance’ in 2023 for the same council audit.

 

It could be recalled that Tanudan was one of the recipients of the 2019 and 2022 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Awards.

 

Meantime, apart from the two plaques, the Municipality of Tanudan collected three more awards during the awarding ceremony held at the Crown Legacy Hotel.

 

These citations include having achieved a ‘High Functionality’ or 95.50% score in the 2023 Local Committees on Anti-trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children Functionality Audit; ‘Ideal Functionality’ or 81.77% rating in the 2023 Local Council for the Protection of Children Functionality Audit; and ‘Functional’ or 79.49% rating in the 2022 Peace and Order Council Performance Audit.
