Tanudan, Kalinga welcomes new Municipal Chief of Police

Tanudan, Kalinga – The uniformed men and women of Tanudan will now be supervised by a new town chief of police.

Police Captain Florand Sim officially assumed post as the Officer-in-Charge(OIC) of Tanudan Municipal Police Station on September 01, 2023 after accepting the command from outgoing OIC PCapt. Celina Pinading.

The turn-over of command ceremony which was administered by Kalinga Police OIC, PCol. Freddie Lazona, was held at Sitio Banagao, Poblacion.

Sim is not new to Tanudan as he had served as the Deputy Chief of Police in the municipality before getting reassigned to lead the Tabuk City Traffic Management Unit in 2022.

Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag who attended and witnessed the event conveyed in a statement the importance of a continuous and harmonious working relationship between the PNP, the LGU, and the community.

“Ti panagpatalinaed iti kapya ti maysa nga ili ket haan lang nga trabaho iti police wennu LGU, responsibilidad tayo amin dayta ta haan nga kaya iti maymaysa lang nga ahensiya wennu ti local nga gobyerno nu dadaisuda lang. Ti kasapulan ket mayat nga partnership iti police, komunidad, ken LGU,” he said.

Dagadag assured that the Tanudan LGU supports the PNP’s programs and activities to sustain peace and order in the town.

“Agtitinulong tayo kuma kadagitoy amin nga illegal activities nga mangmangyari. Tuloy tuloy ti supporta met iti LGU Tanudan kadagiti amin nga programa iti PNP,” he said.
