Teacher G of Tuba, Benguet wins P500,000 Nat’l Dart Tournament

Benguet, Philippines – Giselle Bulahao from Yagyagan, Tuba, Benguet beat 18 other players to win the Single Ladies Category of the P500,000 National Darts Tournament.

Held at the Provincial Capitol of Zamboanga Sibugay in Ipil from February 24 to 26 this year, the tournament was a national ranking event of the National Darts Federation of the Philippines.

Bulahao, also known as “Teacher G” beat the then NDFP top-rank player Ging Ansale with 4-0 score in the Best of 7 series Championship Game, thus pocketing P16,000 prize and securing a trophy.

The dart player likewise won the Three-Man Team Category of the same event.

In another national ranking event conducted at PFVR Gymnasium, Baguio City from February 17 to 19, Bulahao was with Layden De Jesus in the joint 3rd and 4th ranks.

The former teacher was hailed as the champion in the first regional darts tournament of Cordillera Lady Darters Club held in the Summer Capital on August 20 and 21, 2022.

Other winners

In the official results, Ansale placed second, while Febbie Kates Bayron and Janjan Hinojales secured joint 3rd to 4th spots.

Landing in the joint 5th to 8th were Juvy Gayoso, Apple Lubaton, Nikkie Quintana, Royda Flores.
