Technician shot dead by co-worker in Bangued, Abra

Bangued, Abra – Instead of giving a cigarette to a 22-year-old technician in Abra, as he requested, a technician from a telecom company took out a gun and shot him dead over the weekend in Bangbangar, Bangued.

The victim, Bryan Dave Tebia, had just gone on a drinking spree with the suspect and five other individuals that night before the incident.

While the drinking spree was still ongoing, the victim had already headed out to sleep, according to the account of his drinking buddies.

However, while Tebia was sleeping, the suspect shouted at him to come out, which the former heeded since they were close. Tagging along with the victim was his teenage cousin.

Unknown to him, the suspect had a hidden agenda. When the victim asked the suspect for a cigarette, the latter pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the head, leaving him in critical condition.

The bullet likewise penetrated the thigh of the victim’s cousin.

Even though he was injured, his cousin managed to ask for help from the neighborhood while the suspect immediately fled the crime scene.

The victim and his cousin were transported to a medical facility in Abra’s capital, but unfortunately, the former succumbed to his head injury.

His family now cries for justice and has taken to social media to appeal to the public to help them locate the suspect, who is now hiding from authorities.

“Justice para ken ading ko. Tulungan dakami apo,” his sister posted on Facebook, along with photos of the suspect named by police as Alejandro Castillo, a resident of Bangbangar, Bangued.

Meanwhile, the victim’s co-workers believe that the suspect might have taken the jokes of the victim seriously, as they were seen teasing each other about their lovers that day.
