The mayor cited the seminars and conferences conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) before the onslaught of Typhoon Lawin in 2016 as an example.

“I am very thankful that I attended that conference because we were able to implement what they taught us,” Malannag remarked.

He likewise extended his gratitude to the different provincial and local agencies such as the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), DILG, and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for gracing the caravan.

Speaking on behalf of the yPasil, Malannag said “we love to learn and we always want to learn and be heard for us to develop.”

“As we have been telling, yPasil are dreamers especially the leaders of Pasil. We want to dream more for Pasil. We cannot have this dream that we have unless we are guided from the top,” the mayor added.

“Thank you for your assessments ta nu awan ti assessment yu, haan kami nga ag-improve sunga han kayo a mabain nga mangibaga ti kina-agpaysuwan na ken nu anya ti kurang na,” expressed Malannag.
