Burglars ransack aluminum shop in Tabuk

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A glass and aluminum shop in Appas, Tabuk City lost cash and power tools to burglars on Monday night, April 10.


Based on the March 2023 data of the Kalinga police, theft is the most committed index crime last month with 4 reported incidents in the province. There was also one case of robbery during the said period.


For this month, LJF Glass Aluminum fell victim to thieves who ransacked their shop.

Leeuwenjay Flores, owner of the establishment narrated they were about to open their shop past 8:00 in the morning today, April 11, when they noticed that the padlock of their roll-up door was sawed off.


The burglars likewise destroyed another door lock and rummaged through their files based on the scattered documents inside their building.


Flores said that some cash was taken from their establishment and that some power tools were also missing. These include around P69,000 worth of cutter, airsoft rifle, drill, and hand drill.


The owner is still verifying what other items were taken from the building.
