Tinglayan beauty is Miss Kalinga 2023 third runner-up

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Local Government Unit of Tinglayan felicitated its representative for the Miss Kalinga 2023 pageant who entered the top five, ending her journey to the province’s prestigious pageant as Miss Kalinga 2023 third runner-up.


“Congratulations Kaye Goyao Paga! Thank you for representing the Municipality of Tinglayan. We are proud of you,” Tinglayan LGU said in a Facebook post.


Paga was also named Miss Photogenic in Kalinga’s grandest beauty and brain competition.

Rizal’s representative Angelina Dupaya, meantime, snatched the most coveted crown, even bagging four minor awards.


Prior to joining Miss Kalinga 2023 pageant, the 21-year-old Tinglayan beauty was also one of the runners-up in the recent Miss Kalinga Ambassador pageant held in December 2022.


She is a Civil engineering student who traces her roots in Sumadel and Mallango and is an advocate for the promotion of Kalinga culture and traditions to the young generations.


In a Facebook post by her handler, Paga relayed her message of gratitude to all those who provided their needs as she partook in said pageant.


“Kaye and I would like to thank our sponsor, MLGU Tinglayan, especially our very handsome mayor, Sacrament Gumilab. To our designers, ate Ar Ar (gown) and ate Diane Atchuela (creative attire) thank you for sharing your talent with us mga ate. Kudos!” Kira Hortelano wrote.

She likewise conveyed her gratitude to Municipal Tourism Officer Larae Lactao.


Other Winners


Also in the top 5 roster is Tabuk City’s Dori Loren Domingo who was named first runner-up, PMA Tanglaw Diwa Class of 1992’s Anele Jane Annogui, the second runner-up, and Partylandia Event Catering’s Althea Butay, fourth runner-up.
