TJ Duyan eyes incentives, benefits for Tabuk athletes when elected as city councilor

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Juan Thomas ‘TJ’ Duyan eyes giving incentives and benefits to athletes in Tabuk should he win as city councilor this May 9, 2022 elections.

During the Kandidato Mo, Kilalanin Mo of Radyo Natin Tabuk on April 7, Duyan who is the incumbent Sangguniang Kabataan Tabuk Federation President explained that among his plans should he be given the chance to be a councilor is to study more programs and to propose activities that could benefit the youth of Tabuk City.

“More on benefits a maipaay iti kabataan iti mabalin tayo a trabahuen idiay uneg ti konseho apo nangruna daytoy scholarship, haan tayo lang kuma a nayunan iti benepisyo a mabalin tayo maipaay kanyada nu di ket nayunan tayo pay apo iti estudyante or kabataan a maka-avail iti dayta a programa apo,” he said.

He also added that he plans to empower the youth, even more, when it comes to sports, revealing that he is currently conducting a legislative study on the possibility of giving incentives to Tabuk athletes. Duyan noted that the training of athletes should be continuous and that they should not only practice a week before the athletic meet.

“Kayat tayo nga with or without iti athletic meets dapat itul-tuloy da latta apo iti panag-training,” he conveyed.

Duyan further emphasized that he will continue to support and craft more programs that will benefit and empower the youth.

“Itul-tuloy tayo nga i-suporta iti kabataan ket adalen tayo pay nu anya dagiti masapul pay a program, nu anya pay iti mabalin tayo nga i-empower para iti kabataan tapnu lalo da pay nga aggaget, nga maipakita da met iti counterpart da as a kabataan iti komunidad tayo,” he said.

Tabuk athletes who win in national and international competitions bring pride and honor to our city and should be supported.
