Tuguegarao pride ranks 5th in March 2023 veterinarian board exam

Tuguegarao, Cagayan – Garnering 81.68 percent rating, a Tuguegarao pride was able to secure a spot in the top 10 highest places in the March 2023 Veterinarian Licensure Examination.

As announced today by the Professional Regulation Commission, at least 220 out of 681 or 32.31 percent passed the exams conducted by the Board of Veterinary Medicine in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, and Tuguegarao on March 1, 2 and 3, 2023.

Landing as the top 5 in the board exam was Brigitte Cuarteros Calimag from Tuguegarao City in Cagayan. She finished Doctor in Veterinary Medicine at University of the Philippines - Los Baños in August 2022.

As an achiever, Calimag received Dr. Elito F. Landicho Memorial Award for Best Undergraduate Thesis in Veterinary Physiology when she graduated from college, informed the Philippine Information Agency 2.

Her proud sister took to social media to extend her felicitations.

“Omggg!!!! DOKTORA NA KAPATID KO at TOP 5 pa! Masyado mo namang ginalingan. You made us proud again sissy. Worth it lahat lam mo na yon. Thankyou Lord,” Calimag’s sister Vie expressed on her Facebook post.

The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony of successful examinees are yet to be announced.
