Tabuk City, Kalinga – The public’s support and cooperation have a crucial role in the maintenance of peace and order in the province, says new Kalinga Police Provincial Director.

Police Colonel James Mangili who is a native of Ifugao officially received the command to lead the Kalinga Police Provincial Office in a ceremony held at the Camp Major Bado Dangwa in La Trinidad, Benguet on December 23, 2024.

When asked what the people of Kalinga can expect from him as the new police PD, Mangili assured that the cops in the province, under his command, will continue working and enforcing their mandated tasks which is to serve and protect.

Nevertheless, the new top cop added that they cannot do all the work in sustaining peace and order alone, but that they need the support of the stakeholders and constituents of Kalinga.

“I am appealing kanyayu nga kailyan nga taga Kalinga, tulungan dakami because we cannot do it alone. With your support, support of the stakeholders and the citizenry, ma-minimize tayo iti krimen. Hindi lang trabaho ng pulis yan, trabaho nating lahat,” he said.
