Tabuk City, Kalinga – Governor James Edduba, during the Street Dance competition on February 13, 2025, stressed the significance of giving full backing to the students in Kalinga, highlighting that their success aids in the advancement of the province.
“Tulungan tayu dagiti agtutubo tapnu magun-udan tayo iti balligi. The success of each student is the success of the province because they are the future of our province,” said the governor before the students, parents, and teachers who attended the competition.
The governor likewise extended his heartfelt gratitude for the participation of the Kalinga people in celebrating the 30th Kalinga Founding Anniversary and 6th Bodong Festival.
Edduba then urged the iKalingas to uphold unity and continue driving progress while elaborating the people’s crucial role in nurturing the youth in all aspects of life.
As the province strives for progress, the father of Kalinga reminded his constituents to honor the heritage and remain rooted in the culture and identity of being an iKalinga which is the essence of the celebration.
“While we strive to pass on the gift of education to you, we also hope to uphold the gift of being Kalinga,” Edduba concluded.
Held on Thursday February 13, 2025, the 6th Bodong Festival’s Street Dance competition showcased the talents and creativity of the students who represented their respective schools.
