Abra, Philippines – Two identified female drug personalities in Abra were recently brought to police custody after selling suspected shabu to undercover cops.

The Abra Police Provincial Office identified the suspected drug peddlers as 30-year-old online seller tagged as High Value Individual and 30-year-old businesswoman who is included as a High Value Target in the PDEA Watch List. The latter is also described to be a drug resurgent.

On March 6, various police units in Abra, through the leadership of the Police Provincial Director, PCol. Gilbert Fati-ig, launched an anti-illegal drugs operation against these two identified drug personalities in Cosili East, Bangued.

Unbeknownst to the suspects, the two women transacted with undercover police officers where they sold some sachets of the suspected contraband. The operatives immediately handcuffed the suspects upon buying said sachets from them.

The illegal drugs taken from the suspects include 4 sachets containing a substance believed to be shabu with an estimated total worth of P113,220.

The two were taken to police custody and will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
