Bacyadan, meantime, in his talk during the program, recounted the hardships he faced before he finally fulfilling his dream to become an Olympian. One of those he mentioned was the lack of financial support in the sports he participated in, but he did not give up but put his trust in the almighty creator.

With what Bacyadan recounted, Governor Edduba encouraged the iKalinga youth to emulate the sacrifices made by Bacyadan so that they can also reach their dreams in life, saying, "Nothing is impossible nu agsakripisyo kayo, kailangan nga aganus kayo."

As for those who supported and helped Bacyadan to get to where he is now, Edduba expressed his sincere thanks to them, as they are the ones who served as motivation for the boxer to achieve his goal, to become an Olympian.

“With a grateful heart, to your family, thank you ti support u ken Hergie… Without your beloved support, nakaabot suna iti kastoy nga stage,” said the governor.
