American married to a Filipina in Baguio City charged with violence

Baguio City, Philippines – A case of violence against women and their children (VAWC) was recently filed against a foreigner in Baguio City, the police through Mt. Province Broadcasting Corporation reported.

The 38-year-old complainant claimed her 36-year-old American husband continues to have affairs, causing her to suffer from physiological and psychological stress.

The wife whose identity was withheld further said she and her child are also experiencing verbal abuse from the accused.

The case was already filed before Baguio City Prosecutor's Office.

Minor raped by a man she met online

Said office likewise received a case of rape from a minor victim who alleged that a 30-year-old man whom she only met online on June 19, 2023, sexually assaulted her.

The suspect convinced the teen to meet with him on June 25. The two then went to eat and shortly afterward, he carried out his evil plan of raping the minor.

Though the case was filed against the suspect, he remains free pending the court’s order for his arrest.
