‘Visiting institutions paramount in strengthening policies for employees welfare ’ - Kalinga BM Langkit

Tabuk City, Kalinga - Kalinga Board Member Atty. Danzel Langkit, the Legislative Committee Chairman on Human Resource and Development, underscored the necessity of visiting institutions, which he does, to safeguard the welfare of every iKalinga employee is of paramount importance.

 

The frequent visits on the ground, according to Langkit in an interview, show what the reality is and what needs to be done.  

 

In his recent Facebook post, the legislator highlighted that one of his key initiatives as the chairman of the said committee personally going to various institutions/establishments in Kalinga to reinforce existing policies that benefit workers. 

 

Langkit said that he wants to identify the improvements that can be made inside a workplace so that the rights and well-being of employees are prioritized.  

 

Moreover, Langkit wants to make sure that the needs and concerns of workers are heard and addressed, demonstrating a commitment to fostering an open and supportive work environment.

 

“Protektaran tayo dagiti empleyado…Being the Legislative Committee Chairman on Human Resource and Development, it is one of my programs to visit institutions/establishments to strengthen policies for the welfare of their employees,” he wrote.

 

The chairman's ongoing efforts focus not only on reinforcing labor policies but also on engaging in proactive dialogues with employers and their workers to address ground issues such as work conditions, benefits, and career development, among other problems inside an organization.

 

With a firm commitment to employees’ welfare, Langkit continues to be a strong advocate of a more equitable and supportive work environment by ensuring that every employee’s rights are protected at every level.
