Wacnang underscores losing the vice mayoral race, not a reason to stop defending Tabukeños

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Acting Vice-Mayor, Atty. Zorayda Mia Wacnang expressed her political loss is not a reason to stop defending and supporting the people of Tabuk.


Wacnang, the highest Tabuk Council Member lost to Atty. Dick Bal-o with a vote difference of 4,381.


The supposed to be first female vice mayor of the city congratulated Bal-o and all the newly-elected local officials through her Facebook page.

“May God bless and guide all of you as you assume your roles as servant leaders, always putting public interest first above all others,” stated Wacnang.


Meanwhile, she expressed gratefulness to all her supporters, volunteers, donors, friends, relatives, and family for their help, effort and sacrifices during the campaign period.

Despite the turn of events, Wacnang assured her continued assistance for the public welfare.


“Haan tayu man nagun-ud ti balligi tatta a panag-sasalisal ti pulitika, haan a rason dytoy tapnu isardeng tayu a mangisakit ti Ay-ayaten tayu nga ili ti Tabuk ken mangipaay ti serbisyo para kadagiti kakailyan. God bless Tabuk City! God bless the Philippines!” stressed the outgoing acting vice-mayor.
