What kind of leaders should Tabuk City vote for?

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang advised the people of Tabuk City to be wise this May 09 polls and elect leaders who are against corruption so the taxpayers’ money can be protected.

Tabuk City’s Internal Revenue Allocation is more than a billion which is bigger than the all the IRA of municipalities in Kalinga combined and twice as much the IRA of the provincial LGU.

Tabuk CLGU then has much more tax payers’ money to spend.

Speaking to his supporters, Mangaoang labelled the election of the City Mayor as ‘critical’ due to the increase of the city’s budget to P1.9 billion beginning this 2022 plus the P1.9 billion loan of the incumbent administration.

The congressman expressed his concern that the money will not be spent for development and reasonable purpose supposing the community will vote for undeserving candidates.

Mangaoang further stressed that how the city spends its money will affect other municipalities. He said, if Tabuk will make use of its budget properly, then the provincial officials will focus its support to the municipalities which are in need of assistance.

“Ammu yu nu apay ibagak nga mairanud kami (nga adda idiay pito nga munisipyo iti probinsiya iti Kalinga), ta gamin nu nasimpa ti panaggastos iti kwarta iti Tabuk City, han kuma nga pakpakialaman ni Apo Governor wennu ni Apo Congressman. Ipupuk na ladta kuma kadagiay pito nga munisipyo nga akin kailangan iti pondo,” explained the solon.

It is then of paramount importance for the voters to choose the right leaders this upcoming election, those who truly desire to serve the public not the ones who are running for personal interest.

"Nu sitayo, sarili tayo nga kwarta, han kadi nga an-annadan tayo, nu naikkan kayo iti gundaway nga agsirbi para iti umili, the more nga proteksiyonam kuma data nga kwartan ti umili. Nu prinoteksyonam iti kwartam kuma ket 1%, times 10 kuma nga proteksyonam ti kwarta iti umili. Diay ti kayat tayo nga ag-mayor iti Tabuk City,” said Mangaoang.
