When love becomes a crime – 2 charged with adultery

Pinukpuk, Kalinga – Two individuals were charged with adultery and were arrested by trackers team of the municipal police station of Pinukpuk police through an arrest warrant noon of January 19 in Barangay Taga.

Based on the police report, the complainant, the husband of the woman, filed the complaint against the his wife and her lover before the Pinukpuk Municipal Police Station in 2020 for alleged forbidden love affair.

The person filed the complaint after having known that the female suspect who works as an OFW came home for vacation but went straight to her lover’s abode where they are now living together.

Moreover, according to the complainant, this is not the first time she did this since her previous vacation was spent with her lover instead of her family. He added that since the wife left overseas five years ago, she never came home to them.

Meantime, the suspects two hours after their arrest posted their bail, P36,000 each, for their temporary release.
