Who will be this year’s Tabuk City meet overall champion?


Tabuk City, Kalinga – Four districts in the city are back to competing for sports victory following the return of the Tabuk City Meet on March 9, 2023.


The much awaited comeback happened at the Tabuk City National High School this Thursday, three years since its suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tabuk City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Irene Angway marked the opening program with emphasis on unity through sportsmanship. She likewise encouraged the athletes to learn from their defeats and be humble in their victories.


The four districts in the city – northern, southern, eastern, and western district compete with each other in 15 sports events.


These include athletics, chess, sepak takraw, billiards, tennis, volleyball, arnis, taekwondo, softball, futsal, combative events, gymnastics, dance sports, table tennis, and swimming.


This year’s Tabuk City Meet will conclude on Saturday, March 11.


Athletes who will win in their respective events will compose the delegates who will be sent to represent Tabuk City in the CARAA meet tentatively slated this April 2023.
