Wider information dissemination about Kalinga LGU loan suggested

Tabuk City, Kalinga - Radio Broadcaster Jerome Tabanganay suggested for a wider information dissemination for the public to understand the rationale and processes of the PhP999-M loan by the provincial government intended to fund various development projects in the province.


Tabanganay made this suggestion during the provincial government forum concerning the P999-M loan held on July 14, as he expressed his support on the list of high-impact projects under the loan, benefiting all municipalities and the city of the province.


“I suggest nga you go on with the forum, explain to the people nu i-implement yu mapan kayo ti ili lalo idiay Tanudan, Pasil, Tinglayan, Rizal and Tabuk para maawatan tatta gamin ket mabagbagbag dagitoy Governor, Vice. Governor, Board members iti media, social media,” he said.


Tabanganay expressed support on the loan upon hearing the detailed explanation of the Provincial Planning and Development Office and following the expression of assurance from the provincial officials.


“While nangngeg ko diyay assurance a napintas ti implementation na, we back on your words, we back on your statement kasi narigat nu madin tu ti implementation na daytuy a projects,” he expressed.


With his presence on the forum, he pointed that he aims to listen and consider the presentation of both sides.


“Before I face the microphone again in August or September para ammuk ti ibagbaga ti radio in my own program, haan yu daksen…umayak ag- dengngeg ta umay ko denggen diyay presentation da to make it fair or present it to the media,”

“Kasi, I might volunteer to file complaints nu ada ti problema iti daytuy a loan as I live in the city of Tabuk, kaya thank you ta ada met dagiyay mechanism a bantayan tayo amin.,” Tabanganay concluded.


The PhP999 million is intended to finance the upgrading and completion of various health care facilities, road improvement projects, and disaster preparedness equipment that are aligned to the program’s goal to revive the economy of the province.
