Tragic death of 2 bus passengers in Nueva Ecija caught on camera

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Two passengers of a Victory Liner bus heading to Manila were sleeping peacefully when two gunmen who were on the bus shot them to death in Nueva Ecija Wednesday afternoon, November 15.

In a viral video that caught the tragic incident, the victims were napping on the front seats when one of the killers stood up and fired his gun point blank on the head of the woman. Then the other killer took a shot at the man.

Reports from local media revealed that the victims were a 60-year-old woman who was a resident of Sta. Luciana, Cauayan City, Isabela, and a 55-year-old man from Koronadal, South Cotabato.

The two were said to be live-in partners.

When the bus reached Carranglan, Nueva Ecija, two unidentified men onboard the bus moved forward, ready to alight from the vehicle. However, as they passed by the victims, the two men shot them in the neck and head four times.

The suspects got off the bus after the incident.

The incident was recorded by the bus’s dashcam and has gone viral on the internet since yesterday. The motive of the killing and identities of the killers are still being established.

Investigation into the case is ongoing.
