Woman ran away after argument with partner, found dead in Tumauini, Isabela

Tamauini, Isabela - A body of woman was found on a farm in Barangay San Vicente, Tumauini, Isabela on Monday, June 25.

 

According to police reports, the body was discovered by the residents while they were heading to their farm that day.

 

The farmers reported the matter to the Tumauini police who immediately proceeded to the area to investigate.

 

Since the police in Tamauini could not identify the victim, they contacted neighboring police stations.

 

In the same day, the Ilagan City Police Station responded and informed them that a man, identified as Rackan Dela Cruz Pahimna, was looking for his missing live-in partner.

 

When Rackan saw the body, he confirmed that the victim is his live-in partner who was later identified as Camille Balayan.

 

During investigation, Rackan confessed to police that they had an argument with Camille on June 24 due to jealousy.

 

Camille left their house after their misunderstanding; however, when it was about 7:00 pm that day, Rackan said that Camille texted him that she was headed back home.

 

Camille failed to return home. The next day, June 25, her body was found.

 

Camille’s body will be subjected to an autopsy to determine the cause of death while authorities are now conducting further investigation to identify the suspects of the killing.
