Baguio City, Philippines – A Yemeni residing in Purok 5, Bakakeng Central was arrested for cultivating three pots of fully grown marijuana at his residence.

The suspect was identified by the Philippine National Police Cordillera as a certain Hussein Muaad Hasan, 21, also known as Muath yaf.

The operatives, according to PNP Cordillera, applied for search warrant to search the suspect’s house after his neighbor reported him, for his and peers’ rowdy behavior when high with illegal drugs.

After the on-site inventory of the confiscated pieces of evidence, the suspect and the marijuana plants were brought to the custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Baguio pending the filling of formal complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
