Tabuk City, Kalinga – Police Colonel Charles Domallig turned over the command of Kalinga Police Provincial Office to the new police director who will be in charge of the uniformed personnel in the province.

Domallig, a native of Tinglayan, relinquished his post as Kalinga Police Provincial Director (PD) to PCol. Freddie Lazona this August 10, 2023.

The outgoing PD acknowledged officials, leaders, stakeholders, and the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (KPPO) for the support they had given him since he took over to lead the men and women of Kalinga in 2022.

Before leaving the Kalinga police officers with their new leader, Domallig urges them to continue serving the people to the best of their abilities.

“Continue doing your best for the people of Kalinga,” he said.

PCol. Domallig will be going to the Police Regional Office Cordillera in La Trinidad, Benguet to lead the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division.

Cordillera Regional Director PBGen. David Peredo, who supervised the turnover of command, asked KPPO to support and work harmoniously with their new officer-in-charge.

“To the men and women of Kalinga PPO, put your full support and cooperation to your new leader. I hope to see a harmonious and cooperative relationship between you and your new provincial director,” he said.
